Armando Braswell is a soloist dancer and international guest teacher from New York City. Armando received his Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the Juilliard School in 2006. Shortly after Armando moved to Europe to dance with Ballet Theater Munich. In 2007, Armando became a founding member of Gauthier Dance at Theaterhaus Stuttgart in Germany. In August 2012, Armando moved to Basel, Switzerland to join the Basel Ballet as a soloist. Throughout his career, Armando has been fortunate enough to perform in ballets by many great choreographers. Aside from his dancing career, Armando has established himself as a guest teacher in high demand and continues to teach classes and workshops all over the world. Armando founded Ballett Dienstag, as a community where ballet dancers of all levels and all body types could have a place to have quality ballet classes with live music.
Lisa Braswell is an ex-dancer from New York City. After studying dance and working professionally for some years, she carried her love of dance to her position as Office Manager of one of the most successful Instructional Dance Video companies in the U.S. After moving to Europe, she has had administrative experience in numerous companies in Germany and in 2015, she completed the Course in Entrepreneurship at the Crescenda Founding Center for Women located in Basel, Switzerland. She has been the Administrative Director of Ballett Dienstag since the company opened in 2016 and is excited about her future at the Braswell Arts Center.
